On July 31, 2023, the 红杏视频 submitted a comment to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (鈥淔HFA鈥�) in response to a request for input on tenant protections applicable to enterprise-backed multifamily properties. In its comment, the 红杏视频 urged the FHFA to use its authority as supervisor and conservator of government sponsored enterprises to address unfair and discriminatory practices that result in potential tenants being denied access to housing, such as policies and practices that exclude based on criminal and eviction history records or source of income and 鈥渃rime-free housing programs.鈥� The 红杏视频 also urged other requirements for properties backed by government sponsored enterprises, including notice of tenant screening criteria and the bases for rejections, as well as notice of rights and responsibilities relating to sexual harassment in housing.
